Military night vision goggles are commonly used as artificial lighting during military operations and combat night. This adds to the safety of military personnel much as they can move without being detected by the illumination tools.

The Army uses two main types of night vision goggles:

Intensifiers Image

In some cases, night vision goggles can use infrared to see through walls.

• 20/25 to 20/40 vision at best scenario
• Monocular or tunnel vision (no peripheral vision so you need to keep looking around to see potential hazards)
• In the same distance, larger objects seem closer to the more small
• The time it takes to adjust your eyes when you take off the glasses.
